The IC35 is our 2nd Microphone in the instrument series. It features a super fast Cardioid capsule with our specialty 1 MHz Microphone Preamp.
Designed as a hybrid Microphone to bridge the gap between the natural sound capture of omnis and the rejection of gradient Mics, it combines the best of both worlds. Built to the same standard as our other Microphone models, the IC35 excels at reproducing a wide range of instrument sounds such as brass, woodwinds, strings and percussions. Because of its lower sensitivity, it can handle louder instruments than our IH35 as its distortion free max SPL can exceed 140 dB, on the other hand it has less rejection than the IH35. Its wide angled and smooth cardioid pattern also ensures a uniformly uncolored pick up which allows the performer more movement freedom without compromising sound capture.
